This Dynamic Woman’s journey in the retail industry began at the tender age of 16 at her local mall. By 18, she was already an assistant manager. Her passion for fashion led her to attain a degree in fashion merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in the heart of New York City.

After college, Eklund shares, “It was the early 80s, and fashion was taking a new turn; I was there [on the frontlines] to see it expand and grow into what it is today.”

Life’s twists and turns eventually led Eklund through the chapters of marriage, motherhood and divorce. Amid these experiences, she discovered a new passion: thrifting. Passionate about the hunt, “I am obsessed with fl ea markets and the treasures uncovered there. I love beautiful, well-made items, be it clothes, jewelry or home décor.”

For over 30 years, Revivals Boutique has combined its founder’s love for fashion and thrifting. It is not merely a consignment store of upscale clothing, it is a haven where her clients find solace and a sense of belonging. This Dynamic Woman’s intuitive understanding of her clients’ needs has garnered her admiration. A close friend’s quote rings true: “Just give Robin the facts, and she could style anyone for any occasion.”

Revivals Boutique has proudly won the annual Best Design Consignment Store in Main Line title every year since 2002. After three decades in Narberth, the boutique relocated to a larger, more stunning space on Rittenhouse Place in Ardmore this past summer.

This Dynamic Woman and her team regularly donate clothes and accessories to Career Wardrobe, the Veterans Association and women’s shelters across Philadelphia.
